The five lakes hiking route on the north side of Mt Pizol is one of the classical prealpine hiking trails in Switzerland. The Pizol region can be reached within a short time from Zurich, Winterthur and St. Gallen and is ideal for a one day's hike in the Swiss mountains. |

Hourly Interregio trains Zurich - Sargans - Chur. Change to postbus for Wangs Pizolbahn (-Vilters) at Sargans Please note that Intercity trains will not stop in Sargans. 4 section cableway will bring you up to Pizolhütte (ask for special ticket "5-Seen-Wanderung") Those who like may start after 3 sections at Gaffia already and go uphill (1 hour) |
